In The Community
Philanthropy is part of the LEMCO culture. We share our riches in the local community whenever we can; whether it is a donation, sponsorship or needs drive. We support construction industry events, community sponsorships and several charitable organizations on a yearly basis.
Here are a few highlights from some of our recent activities:
Promoting “Green”
Judy Lembke was part of a panel discussion at the Women’s Business Council-Southwest on “Green, Sustainability, Community Responsibility and Economics”. Judy spoke on LEMCO’s experience in what the construction industry is doing to promote solutions to environmental challenges and advancements in green technology. Judy had been part of a committee, run by the Quoin Dallas Chapter of the Association of General Contractors, to develop a white paper entitled: Best Management Practices for Sustainability/Green Building for Commercial Contractors. Judy presented the white paper during the panel discussion.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest, largest and most effective youth mentoring organization in the United States developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. “Working with my “little brother” has done wonders for his self esteem as well as my own. As a former “little brother” the lessons learned were valuable to my success as an individual as well as a construction professional. LEMCO Construction Services has allowed me to devote much of my time to be able to help foster and grow the youth of Dallas”
